Excellent point, Dan. I am sure both Khartoum and Beijing are shaking in their boots about the Mia Farrow protest thing. After all, she was once married to the creator of Match Point.
Anyhow, I give the U.S. State Department kudos for supporting this indictment. Say what you want about Iraq, in Sudan Bush has demonstrated adept diplomacy that has spared the country the ravages of full-scale civil war and contained the inclinations of a ruthless regime, without overextending our commitment.
The world has been patient with President Bashir, and now it is close to time to depart from endless proclamations and either put up or shut up.
I am totally ignorant when it comes to Sudan and welcome enlightenment. Where is Sudan located?
